In 2012 we started with Eat Play Oakland, doing Popups and private catering, Since then we've expanded our culinary brand to EPEC FOOD; a food service distributor that currently is doing business as Eat Play Events & Catering. Our ultimate goal is to be a marketplace that produces local, organic and sustainable foods.
Our hearts and minds are always with the dilemma of food insecurities that plague our communities. When the Covid-19 pandemic started on the Royal Caribbean Cruise that was docked at the Port of Oakland. We partnered with World Central Kitchen and Eat Learn Play nonprofits, helping feed our communities children, seniors and homeless with daily hot meals.
As a minority business enterprise certified by NMSDC, one of our goals is to continue to partner with larger businesses in their diversity supplier. Hoping to build stronger relationships with companies through service and food.
